| The Peshlakai Cultural Foundation is dedicated to the preservation of Native American cultures. Our vision is to provide funding for teaching Native American traditions and cultures. This may include teaching Native American youth of their traditional ways, communities in sharing traditional ways to create a better understanding and knowledge of the first Americans. On this website you can learn about our history and our purpose, and plan ahead with our up- coming events calendar! This year is our season begins with the “Memorial Day Hand Drum Contest”, then celebrate July fourth with us at the Tusayan Parade, and end your summer with a “hoopla” at our “Annual Labor Day Hoop Dance Contest”!
